Higher Corporate Yields Make for Competitive Quotes

structured settlement yields

With the Fed Rate plummeted to near zero in April 2020, it was easy to assume that structured settlements may not be competitive. However that may be a false assumption.

United States Treasury yields are not the best barometer of structured settlement rates because cooperate bonds are perhaps a more important driver.  With the economic reality that we're living in at this moment cooperate yields are competitive! USAA just announced a structured settlement rate improvement. With agile pricing models recently instituted by a number of other structured settlement annuity issuers, the focus is on daily rates. Daily rates are better, in some cases much better, competing well with rates prior to the recent economic swoon. Daily rates are typically offered for premiums in excess of $100,000.

When the market can drop 25-30% just like that with nowhere to hide, wiping out years of gains you have to do a rethink. Amidst all the market volatility, good old hometown structured settlement "comfort food"  can hit the spot.  Remember a structured settlement is like a job you can't be fired from or laid off.  At times like these I hear from many clients who call to say how grateful they are for their structured settlement
