The Structured Settlement Industry saw its THIRD straight quarter with in excess of $2B in production and is now on course for a record busting $8 billion dollar year.  June 2023 production was greater than June 2021 and June 2022 combined.  Special thanks to Matthew Ross for compiling the stats.

Structured Settlement Industry Q2 2023 Report

MetLife was the leading company in terms of Q2 2023 production with $834,000,000 in premium, a 42.5% increase over Q1 2023. which MetLife also led. MetLife structured settlement underwriting companies are Metropolitan Tower Life Insurance Company and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. The former is the primary underwriting company and the latter is the MetLife underwriting company that has been in business since the 19th Century, having been founded in 1868. MetLife’s results are a testament to its ubiquitous advertising (they are eonline) and great rates.
